On July 28, join Chicago residents from across the city for a vocal celebration of free speech at this year’s Bughouse Square Debates. The event, hosted by the Newberry, will feature speakers of all backgrounds and beliefs ascending literal soapboxes to speak on any subject they choose in roughly ten-minute time slots, with presenters competing for the Dill Pickle Award. Along with the presentations, the event will include musical performances and a debate segment.
