CCDBR: FOIA Presentation and Workshop
Join the Chicago Committee to Defend the Bill of Rights for an informational and training session on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), presented by Matt Chapman and volunteers with Lucy Parsons Labs. The session will include a brief introductory presentation on FOIA and the request submission process, followed immediately by a hands-on workshop, in which attendees will be invited and receive coaching to file their first FOIA request.
The session is free and open to the public, and activists and community members of all levels of experience with FOIA are encouraged to attend. For more information, see our event announcement here.
