(In)Justice For All Film Festival: We Are Witnesses: Chicago

As part of this year’s (In)Justice For All Film Festival, the Uri-Eichen Gallery will be screening the short documentary series We Are Witnesses: Chicago. The series, produced in collaboration with the Marshall Project, Kartemquin Films, and Illinois Humanities, tells the stories of Chicagoans who have suffered abuse at the hands of the city’s law enforcement, and criminal justice system, candidly and in their own words.

The screening will take place on Friday, October 4th at 7 p.m., and will conclude with an open discussion featuring local activist Peter Kuttner and Chicago-based attorney Larry Redmond. The event is open to all and tickets are free, but must be reserved in advance.
