United for Democracy Now: How Fascism Works, with Jason Stanley
On March 23, United for Democracy Now and a local coalition of civic society groups will host philosopher and Yale professor Jason Stanley for a presentation on his latest book. As the event’s keynote, Stanley will discuss topics relating to the book, entitled How Fascism Works, and open the floor to a Q&A. Following this, activists from the Chicago area and beyond will reflect on the subject of Stanley’s presentation and further discuss the struggle to curb the rise of fascism in society today.
The event is free and open to the public, and light refreshments will be provided.
