CCDBR National Partners Merge in Effort to Diversify and Energize Grassroots Movement
Posted on June 24, 2015
CCDBR is delighted to receive news of a merger between two of our closest allies on the national scene.
Sue Udry, executive director of the Defending Dissent Foundation (DDF)—formerly the National Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression—announced yesterday that her organization is merging with the Bill of Rights Defense Committee (BORDC). Udry is now also BORDC’s Acting Director.
It seems no formal decision has been made on a new name for the merged entity but the fit is a natural one.
“Both organizations are committed to popular constitutionalism, and work with grassroots Americans from all walks of life to help them raise their voices to confront the national security state,” said Udry in her announcement.
