The House (and today the Senate) have been called into special session on Friday, August 17. AFSCME has vowed to use this opportunity to try to keep Tamms open. We must respond!
WHAT: TY10 MEETING + CARD SIGNING + CELEBRATION FOR WILLIE!
WHEN: Saturday, August 4 at 11:00am to 1:00pm
WHERE: Progressive Community Center/The Peoples Church, 56 E. 48th St, Chicago IL 60615
WHY: To discuss the current situation at Tamms, Pontiac and Menard and plan a rapid response, to greet Willie Sterling, to get a lot of people to help us with our thank you cards to Governor Quinn and legislators.
