WHEN: Tuesday, March 19 @ 4:00
WHERE: Jackson & Lasalle
DESCRIPTION: March 19 marks the 10th anniversary of the immoral and illegitimate U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq. That invasion and occupation was waged based on lies and it’s just one part of the endless global “War on Terror,” which is really a war OF terror being waged in our name for U.S. empire. On Tuesday March 19 we will join with people of conscience to remember the people of Iraq and all those killed in this war of terror. From Iraq to Afghanistan to Pakistan to Somalia to Yemen to Libya– we say no more U.S. wars and occupations for empire! Join Chicago World Can’t Wait, Veterans for Peace and others on this day! We will meet at Jackson and LaSalle at 4 p.m. and do a sidewalk march through the Loop to Federal Plaza for a rally at 5:30 pm. Join us, invite friends, post widely!
